Principal, Nathan Branum

Jaybird Family,

 

  We are looking forward to an incredible year in Jayton this year! I am extremely privileged to have the opportunity to be the Principal/AD at such a great school with a great staff, students, & community surrounding us. I am originally from Shallowater & graduated from Texas Tech for my undergraduate degree and West Texas A&M for my graduate degree. I met my wife, Amanda, while at Texas Tech and we were married in June 2007. We now have 4 awesome kids (Sydney, Kyndrey, Maddox, & Ackley) and love getting to spend as much time together as a family as we can. My professional path has gone through Frenship, Nazareth, Clyde, and Abernathy before arriving here. We are excited to be in Jayton & I look forward to watching my kids grow up in such a wonderful place. There is a great culture here that has been created over the past several decades & we will continue to fight to protect it!
