| Build your own Staff Development |
| Learning in the 21st century requires an entirley new set of skills. Information is being constructed, and re-constructed on a daily basis and at exponential rates. The world around us is moving forward at a tremendous pace, but classrooms sometimes struggle to keep up. As teachers, it is our responsibility to be the exemplary learners on campus. No longer can teachers wait to "be taught" in an inservice or workshop something they need to know today. Because of this, Professional Development has shifted to an active, self-guided adventure. You don't have to do it alone, however, since the web is now more social and connected than ever before. |
