hey I thought a student's iPad and I'm going to try to walk you through the process again this is trial and error for me and learning as I'm used to doing it on my computer which is a lot of the states but their difference is 2 you want to mention that I had to laugh at a lock no screens on your iPad's everyone had some very unique screens where you're going to do first is you're going to find this little icon right here it says McGraw Hill and you're going to click it and if this will come up and this is what I meant by each class having a different one as I told you what grade was the soccer ball fifth grade was the feather and third grade is the beach ball again it will be on your car's I'm going to Hughes Tom as an example sentences the first one on here I have put a fake lesson on to kind of walk you through the process so I'm going to log in his tongue by question I'm going to go to the beach ball but that's what it says so I found a beach ball that says Miss Griffin's class in clicking then you sign your name you can see everybody has a name on here you will go and find your name so let me find Tom's then there it is so here's Tom's name and I click it this is where the password come in again here is Tom's password a banana and a heart so I came back to the screen I clicked A1A banana and the Heart and I move it up and there's your login click login and I get a second to come up take this cream right here will come up next and it says this one because Tom's in third grade is third grade here is the big universe and then here's a picture of Wonders AR book you're going to launch the Wonders are booked this one so I'm going to hit launch and in this screen comes up I said hi Tom play so Tom I'm using yours but this isn't the real lesson this is a fake one that I put in when you come here there are all these little things circles that you can push first thing I want you to do is the book when it has a number by and it will talk so now the one that I was third grade to do and I will send a note on it is The Talented Clementine so I'm not going to do that one I'm going to do mine that I signed for me which is Gary the dreamer which looks just like what y'all will have so do you can see you have all of these things on the side some of these are games that you can play so let me start with the part of it you will first read story and I clicked it and it says this site is attempting to open a pop-up window hit allow that's what we had to go 6 today to get it to work and it does take it a second to come up and then you have the story that pops up that I wanted you to read now I do not mind you listen to it I'm just like I do on the board this looks like what I put on the board but now it's on your iPad these little volume sound you can click and it will read this story so click here narrative nonfiction I didn't click it people from different cultures contribute to a community read Gary Soto culture and its community can you go to what's your reading so you can read it click the button again and it'll start reading it to you if you would rather read it yourself that's fine Gary the dreamer by Gary Soto illustrated by Elizabeth Gomez I was born in April a month when it rains and rains maybe this is why when I was three years old I like to open my mouth and taste rain so April is when. You can read and then you click your buttons here and go to the next page it does take it a second load again read the story the next page read the story and you can answer these questions you know in your head if you want to take notes get this little piggy and I hear if it'll let me click it and maybe I won't blow and I can Circle something that I want on there that's important you don't have to do that it's just if it's something important to you okay I'm going to clear that I guess I want to clear it okay then you will go through and listen to all the story this is where we're trying to do trial and error stuff on after you have listened to the story I will send out a story Mount that we do what we do in class we doing group works now that for you to complete and this way descriptions of the characters in the setting the problem the solution and the summary which no addiction we do somebody wanted but so then and you remembered and then of course the thing so I have you feel a story map out I'm on paper after you've read that I'm going to close this and I'm back to the screen that I have told you to go to it first read the story did I'm going to go to room to grow this is the next story for it this is where we're going to have some solid air allow always allow this is a store that has in with the first story that you've read so again it will read it to you if you click it our new home in Portland I know they kind of sound funny read so if you would rather read yourself that is fine but what you're going to do here and this is where I'm learning to you can add a note like I'll just put High class add tags
