Jayton-Girard ISD hosted the District 15-A Elementary/JH UIL Academic meet over the past two days📚✨ Congratulations to our Elementary and Junior High teams as they both brought home District Championships! 🏆🥇 We are proud of you! 🙌💛 Go Birds!! 💛🖤

Reminder: We will be hosting the Elementary/JH UIL Academic meet on Wednesday and Thursday. We will have an early release on Thursday at 12:30 pm.

Any kids that want to sing with the Children’s Christmas Choir and ride in the light parade tomorrow night should be at the nursing home by 6:45pm. We will be singing Joy to the World, Away in A Manger, and Silent Night for the residents then get on a trailer to join in the light parade. Wear a Christmas outfit or t-shirt but dress warm. Come and be Merry & Bright!

The JGISD Fan Bus will leave from the front of the Jayton School today at 4:45 pm, destined for the JHS vs Benjamin Area FB Playoff Game in Hermleigh. It will travel to the game and stop for a meal afterward. Lady Jays finish the evening with a 52 to 12 victory over Newcastle. JV Lady Jays start the day off tomorrow at 10:20 am against Shallowater. Lady Jays play Sweetwater at 1:00 pm. Go Lady Jays!!
