We will celebrate Sean Stanaland tomorrow with a signing ceremony at 1:30 pm in the Learning Center. Sean will be signing his National Letter of Intent with Texas State University for Track & Field. Please join us as we recognize this exciting milestone and celebrate his accomplishment. 🖊️🎉

Here's the updated bracket for the JH and JV Tournament in Borden Co. for Thursday and Friday.

Wednesday Lunch: Chicken Parmesan, Roll, Green Beans, Corn, Peaches, Milk Variety

School will begin at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, following the late start schedule. We will operate two bus routes with single pickup locations: Girard – Post Office Clairemont – Old Courthouse Both pickup locations will load at 9:30 a.m. Buses will not run in town or on Farm-to-Market/County Roads. We plan to run all regular bus routes in the afternoon. Due to the late start, breakfast will not be served. Please be safe and allow extra travel time. See you in the morning. Go Birds!!

UPDATE – HS District Basketball vs. Hamlin 🏀 HS District games vs. Hamlin are now scheduled for Thursday evening in Hamlin: Lady Jays vs. Hamlin – 6:00 PM Jaybirds vs. Hamlin – 7:15 PM There will be no JV games in Hamlin, as both our JH and JV teams will be competing in the Borden County Tournament on Thursday. Update on school to come shortly. Go Birds!!

JGISD will cancel classes for Tuesday. We will look to resume classes on Wednesday as conditions improve. Basketball games for tomorrow against Hamlin are being rescheduled to Wednesday. Go Birds!!

Due to weather conditions and unsafe roadways, Jayton-Girard ISD will cancel classes and all scheduled activities for tomorrow. We will reevaluate conditions Monday afternoon and communicate any decisions regarding our start time for Tuesday. Please stay safe and warm.

Buses will run at 1:30 pm.
